Psychological Therapy in South Manchester

Cognitive Analytic Therapy for Adults in Altrincham and Online

Therapy is more than just talking through challenges—it is about understanding the patterns that may be shaping your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. It can help you recognise your strengths, make sense of difficult experiences, and ultimately move towards making meaningful changes.

I'm Jo, an accredited psychological therapist providing Cognitive Analytic Therapy to adults and young people (16+) from Altrincham and online.

About Me

I'm Jo, a psychological therapist accredited in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and member of ACAT.

My professional background is in mental health nursing, and I have 25 years of experience in mental health services. I am also an EMDR Therapist and hold a Certificate in CBT and a Certificate in Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy. My therapy training in CAT was in a Specialist Psychotherapy Service, and my current NHS role is in a cancer service.

I'm experienced in working with individuals with a wide range of psychological challenges, including difficulties in relationships, life transitions, perfectionism, low self-esteem, anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, living with cancer and long term health conditions.
